“Victoria Station Remembered Exhibition” – A 3D-Printed Tribute Returns HomeNottingham, UK – We are thrilled and honoured to announce that our meticulously crafted 3D-printed model of Nottingham Victoria Station will feature in the special exhibition marking the 125th anniversary of the station’s grand opening. Curated by Janine Tanner, the display brings to life a station that once stood proudly on this very site. From Saturday 31 May through Friday 6 June, visitors can see our model in the lower mall, outside Next and Boots. The result of over seven years of dedicated research, the model reflects our passion for preserving local heritage and our excitement at sharing this landmark’s story with everyone who passes through the Victoria Centre. When we were first provided with the opportunity to exhibit a model of the station building, we first thought about finishing off and shipping Ash's resin model from Canada, however this wouldn’t be practical due to both time, logical and financial reasons. So instead we opted for Richard to print Ash’s files on his 3D filament printer, though it isn’t as good quality as resin, it meant we were able to deliver the model in just 4 weeks. This was great as we both worked together to get the parts printed, solve issues and Ash even worked out issues we hadn’t resolved before. We extend our deepest gratitude to Janine Tanner for this opportunity and to everyone who supported us along the way. Please note that this is very much a work in progress—some edges remain a little raw—and we look forward to further refining the model in the months ahead and finishing off the interior details.Join us in celebrating the “Victoria Station Remembered Exhibition” and step back in time to rediscover a beloved piece of Nottingham’s heritage.Exhibition Details -Title: Victoria Station Remembered ExhibitionLocation: Lower Mall, outside Next / Boots, Victoria Centre, NottinghamDates: Saturday 31 May – Friday 6 June 2025Curator: Janine Tanner ... One feature we are keen to implement is the ability to switch between different eras of the Station, especially as it changed so much over its short history. This video shows a rough version of this working for our booking hall. Please note, it is still a work in progress. ... See MoreSee Less

Happy belated Victoria Day from Canada, and also a happy anniversary to the opening of Victoria Station. Thought I'd use this as an opportunity to clarify that we are still about. Progress in the last year has admittedly been minimal but both Richard and I have been taking an extended break from the project both for our own reasons. 7 years we have been dedicated to recreating the station and it seemed like it was time to focus on other matters for a little while. We can assure you we still have the intentions of returning shortly. We still have many brick walls to overcome (quite literally. There are interior details we still can't work out). Hopefully we shall return in the not too distant future. Thank you all for your ongoing support and patience!NVS3D team. ... See MoreSee Less
